LINDA

”I love Copenhagen!"

Linda, originally from Vejle, lived in Aarhus studying at the School of
Journalism before moving to Copenhagen on an 18-month internship at
Nordisk Film TV (which has been in Valby since 1906).

“I plan to lure my Jutland friends to Copenhagen. I’ve fallen completely in love with the city and would like to share it with them – a couple are already living here.”

“It’s great moving in somewhere that is brand new. There’s plenty of light in Blækhus, people are nice and like hanging out together. The bathrooms are good too!”

Linda also loves how the Blækhus Facebook group is so active. “If someone is looking for a bottle opener, there’ll be a response within two minutes. Or someone might post asking if anyone wants to play table tennis, and then they’ll meet in the common room on the ground floor.”

What do you like most about Copenhagen?

I think I’m actually in love with this city. It’s so big and it’s all so new, and I feel safe, both day and night.

What kind of books do you read?

Without doubt, is has to be Papillon by Henri Charrière (1969). Read it!

What makes Blækhus special?

Valby is also a calm area, but still surprisingly close to the centre of Copenhagen.

How do you see your life in 10 years?

Hopefully with two children and my own TV production company. And a big apartment in Copenhagen, of course!

What type of music do you listen to?

Mostly pop, but really mixed too – also hip-hop and electronic.
