LUCIANO

”I'm so happy living in Denmark!"

27-year-old Luciano from Argentina is trying to learn Danish, though
most of the people he knows at Blækhus are also foreigners! To make
ends meet while studying (and help his language skills), he works
part-time in a shop at Copenhagen airport.

Luciano grew up in a small town close to Buenos Aires, which he then moved to when he was 17.

“I graduated as accountant and worked full time for three years. I was a bit tired of the routine and wanted to try something completely new while I was still young. So I decided to move abroad to Denmark.”

It has now been three years since Luciano moved. He is taking a Master’s degree in Finance at Copenhagen Business School, and has lived in Blækhus since summer 2018.

What makes Blækhus special?

When I’m home I study almost all the time. But the common rooms are great.

How do you see your life in 10 years?

Working in an international company and living in Copenhagen, the US, or maybe Spain.

What kind of music do you listen to?

I don’t have any favourites. It’s a bit random what I listen to.

As a Finance student, what do you hope for?

I dream that my homeland, Argentina, will become safer and more stable.

Who is your favourite author?

If I were to recommend a South American author, then it would be Isabel
Allende from Chile.
